Iraanse underground rockband Kiosk heeft een nieuwe cd

De underground rockband Kiosk werd in 2003 in Teheran opgericht. Vanwege censuur door het regime besloot oprichter Arash Sobhani uit Iran te vertrekken. De bandleden wonen nu in de VS en Canada. Inmiddels heeft de band over de hele wereld opgetreden, en net is hun vierde album uit. Ik vind het, opnieuw, een geweldige cd. Zoals altijd bij Kiosk zijn de teksten heel scherp, grappig en satirisch-politiek. De nieuwe cd, Triple Distilled: Live at Yoshi's, werd opgenomen in de legendarische jazzclub Yoshi's in San Francisco.

Dit vind ik een van de beste liedjes van de nieuwe cd, 'Love and Death in the Time of Facebook'.
